He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marian Gay Kaine; his children, Robin Stainton (Dan) of Parry Sound and Dawn Logan (Mark) of Ajax; his grandchildren, Travis Elwin, Joshua, Samantha, Luke, Sommer and Timothy; his great grandchild Isabella; and his siblings, Glendene Vandermeulen (Henry) of Niagara Falls and Gloria. He was also cherished by his extended family and many friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the L'Amable Bible Chapel (26492 Hwy 62S, L'Amable, ON).
The family welcome donations to be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society to assist people facing cancer with transportation needs, as well as the Graphite Bible Camp. Donation cards will be available at Al's funeral service.
