He was predeceased by : his wives, Helen (Thompson) and Patricia (Potter); and his siblings, Elsie (Moore), Florence (Lewis), Hugh and Albert.

He is survived by : his children, Alan (Anne Hough) and Linda (Nick Alosinac); and his stepchildren, Jim (late Jan Buckley), Craig (Barb) and Deborah (Dale). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
