He is survived by : his children, Phyllis Hilts (Kevin) of Tweed, Frank McConnell (Brenda) of Oshawa, Josie Hilts (Brad) of Bancroft, Myrtle McConnell of Bancroft and Arthur McConnell (Bev) of Millbridge; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Madelaine (Norman), Francis (Jen), Corey, Marjorie (Jesse), Travis (Alisha), Kayla, Bradley Jr., Joann (Sheldon) and Ayla (AJ); his great grandchildren, Austin, Dakota, Angel, John, Miguel, Marie, Keegan, Norman Jr., Toby, Zachary, Brittany, Kevin, Devin, Isabella, Brittany B, Arron, Dominick, Makena, Clayton, Bradley, Preston, Lincoln and Sarah; his great great grandchildren, RJ, Gwen, Adalaine, Allison, Harley and Brooklyn; his siblings, Madelaine (Jim), Shirley (Joe), Rita (Bill), Donald and Gordon; and his siblings-in-law, Yvonne, Art, Louis, Freida (Clifford), Phyllis (Eldon), Hazel, Amil and Ernestine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to COVID-19, strict visitation restrictions (mask wearing, social distancing, and contact tracing of guests) will be in place.
