He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Robinson and Lois Robinson; his son-in-law Garnet; and his brothers-in-law, Rupert and Doug.

He is survived by: his spouse Gail Robinson (Mountney); his children, Patricia Argbriat, Laura Payette (Peter), Diana Thompson (Brian), Derek Robinson (Kim), Myles Robinson and Steven Robinson; and his stepchildren, Robert, Debra, Yvonne and Angela. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
