He was predeceased by : his grandson William; and his brother Bill. He is survived by : his children, Blair (Leslie) of Manitoba, Jacqueline Whiston of Orillia, Darrell of Elmwale and Angela Penn (Dave) of Wilberforce; and his siblings, Shirley McPherson (Bruce) of Belleville, Jackie Teasdale (Dave) of Belleville, Glen Skinner (Marlene) of Belleville, Yvonne and Nora. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
