We announce the death of Alva (Cormack) Crawford (Barrie, Ontario), who passed away on May 31, 2026, at the age of 107. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lottie Cormack and Henry A. Cormack; her husbands, William'Bill'Crawford and Reginald Vivian Crawford; her sons-in-law, Italo'Bud'Simionati and Steven Smusiak; and her siblings, Edna Cormack, Evelyn Hawkins, Mary Allen, Irene Evans, Lorne Cormack, Mervin Cormack, Albert Cormack and Gordon Cormack.

She is survived by: her children, Margaret'Peggy'Simionati, Elizabeth'Betty'Smusiak and Gordon'Gord'Crawford; her grandchildren, Sima (Trevor Haarsma), Nathan (Kristin Crawford), Cameron (Sharon Couzelis) and Cara Smusiak (Steven Michael Smusiak); her great grandchildren, Alexandria Couzelis and Calysta Couzelis; Debra Crawford. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and -nephews, and great grand-nieces.
