As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Barbara may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cliff Murphy and Audrey Murphy; her brother Rick; her husband David Land; her children, Derek Land (Jacqueline Scott) and Alicia Land (Gord Zajac); and her grandchildren, Alastair, Quinton, Daria Land, Griffin and Marrok Zajac. She was also cherished by her brother and many nieces and nephews.
Should you wish to honour her memory, she would direct any charitable donations to Alzheimer's research or Mill Creek Care Centre.
