He is survived by: his mother Lynda Carleton; his daughters, Claire and Sophie; the parent of his children Sandy; his siblings, Clint (Becki), Stefanie and Amy; his nephew Aidan; and his nieces, Colleen, Abby and Megan. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins; and the countless friends.
Throughout his accomplished career with the Barrie Police Service, Brett was involved in numerous milestone investigations and earned recognition and awards for his outstanding contributions to law enforcement.
