He is survived by: his children, Kylie, Taylor, Sophie and Ayden; his son-in-law Brandon MacDonald; his parents, Mark Young (Lesley Rogers) and Linda Zavitz (Karl); his grandmother Betty Young; his sister Jennifer (Larry Hambly); his stepsiblings, Jonathan and Katie Zavitz; his nephews, Chase (Grace), Henry and Harlon (Hallie); his cousin Amanda; his uncle Brian; and his aunt Linda McKay.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jennett Memorial Centre (152 Bradford St, Barrie, ON L4N3B5).
