The family announces the passing of Deanna (Sawyer) Calwell (Barrie, Ontario) on October 2, 2026. Deanna, born on March 21, 1946, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd and Isabel'Pokey'Sawyer; her stepfather Les Stacey; her husband Floyd; and her sister Marilyn.
She is survived by: her children, Karen (Don), Bruce, Barbie and Dixie (Mike); her grandchildren, Alan, Brendan, Ty, Trinity, Kennedy, Conner, Cayden, Chloe and Griffin; her great grandchildren, Quin and Nika; her brothers, Don (Gwen) and Gord (June); and her pets, Coco and Harley. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Traditions Banquet Hall (142 John St, Barrie, ON L4N2L2).
