With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Detective Constable Dan Christopher Pitre (Barrie, Ontario), who passed away on June 18, 2022 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lori; his father Lionel Pitre; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his son Cole; his friend Jolene; his mother Shirley Pitre; his parents-in-law, Dale and Mary Thompson; his siblings, Colleen (Roger), Ron (Eugenia), Mary (Peter), Darlene (Ed), David (Angeline) and Karen (Gary); and his siblings-in-law, Chris (Susy), Andrea and Robin. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dan's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
