He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Gabitous and Nuala Gabitous; and his siblings-in-law, Gladys, Brian, Gordan and Keith.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gabitous; his children, Tanya Southwick (Brook) and Jeff Gabitous; his grandchildren, Ben, Emma, Drew and Mia; his siblings, Gord Gabitous, Les Gabitous (Susan) and Carol Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Lori, Susan, Alex and Norman.
