Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Doreen Lilian (Pomeroy) Howard (Barrie, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 82, on May 17, 2026. Though Doreen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Doreen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her husband Bruce; her children, Andrew Howard (Christine) and Jennifer Lalonde (Michel); her grandchildren, Jacob, Gabriel and Victoria (Jordan); and her siblings, Sandra, Lee (Liz) and Cindy (Jeff). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the RVH auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.
