He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Robert and Barbara; his former wife Donna; his children, Barb and Stuart; his grandchildren, Nora, Finn and Julia; and his wife Joan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home Worsley Street Chapel, Barrie Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home Worsley Street Chapel (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4). A reception will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
