Emma Louise (Walton) Verbeem Obituary
We announce the death of Emma Louise (Walton) Verbeem (Barrie, Ontario), who passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 51. Emma will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Bram, Marion Ogden, William and Joan Walton; and her great-grandparent Edith Smith.
She is survived by: her parents, Diane Walton and Harold Walton (Margaret); her son Ian; her siblings, Sara and Alexander; and her nieces and nephews, Jack, Carter and Ryan.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Traditions Banquet Hall (142 John St, Barrie, ON L4N2L2).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Foundation (https://rvhfoundation.akaraisin.com) would be greatly appreciated.
