Eugene Genovese Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Genovese (Barrie, Ontario), who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Nino, Giuseppe, Santo, Salvatore, Benito and Maria; and his son Carmen.

He is survived by: his siblings, Vittorio and Elena (Sebastiano Bella); his children, Joanne, Angie, Frank (Rachel Stirling) and Marilyn (Patrick Brown); the parent of his children Pina; his daughter-in-law Jo Bradley; and his grandchildren, Katarina, Eric, Charlotte, Francesca, Isabella, Giulia, Myla, Wes, Tobia, Ana, Cognato and Zio.

We would like to thank the staff at RVH's Specialized Seniors Care Unit and at Amica Little Lake for providing compassionate care in Eugene's final months, particularly during the stress of the pandemic.

The family is grateful for donations in memory of Eugene to be made via CanadaHelps to community outreach programs at St Mary's Church Barrie, to the Specialized Seniors/Dementia Care Unit at Royal Victoria Hospital, or to a charity of your choice.
