Francis La Verdi Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francis La Verdi (Barrie, Ontario), born in Buffalo, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Angeline LaVerdi and Frank LaVerdi; and his grandson Payton O'Handley. He is survived by: his wife Gladys LaVerdi; his son Keith LaVerdi (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Rhys and Dorian; his son Ken LaVerdi (Billie); his grandchildren, Angelina and Alex; his daughter Gina (Guy Lavallee); his grandchildren, Davis and Georgia; his daughter Margaret (Bill Hopcraft); his grandchildren, Will and Liam O'Handley (Marianna); his son Cory O'Handley (Sherry); his grandchild Lenna; his sister Roseann Spallino (Peter); his niece Monica (John Fronczak); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jonathon, Joseph and Jordan; his nephew Pasquale Spallino (Colleen); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Peter, Giovanna and Larissa. He is also survived by his sister, children and grandchildren.
