He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Lillian; his brother Albert; and his sons, Kenneth and Cameron.

He is survived by: his wife Moira; his daughter Sharon (Manny); his grandchildren, Maranda (Chad) and Carly (Michael); his great grandchildren, Reed, Jude, Luca and Finn; and his daughter-in-law Margaret. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
