Georges Ferris Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2026, at the age of 96, Georges Ferris (Barrie, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Georges is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Georges' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helga Ferris; his children, Micheline Crocker Gary (Gary), Richard Ferris (Patrcia) and Les Ferris (late Marianne); and his siblings, Minerve Simard, Micheline Beaulieu and Maxine Nadeau of Quebec City. He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Barrie Legion Branch 147 (410 St Vincent St, Barrie, ON L4M4A6).
