She was predeceased by: her parents, Joyce Goodbrand and Charlie Goodbrand; and her sister Marlene. She is survived by: her children, Jeffery (Kathleen), Mark (Ashley), Kevin (Marni) and Kristen (Adam); her grandchildren, Tess, Ella, Ben, Hannah and Owen; and her siblings, Chris (Derek) and Ken (Jennifer).
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Gerda will be accepted in her name to the Barrie Public Library.
