She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Doug Coo; her children, William "Billy", Alison Gregory (Alex) and Taryn Aitken (Dylan); her granddaughters, Briar, Wellington Gregory, Faith Holland, Peyton Novoa, Stellan and Eleanor Aitken; her siblings, John (Sandy), Luke (Kelly), Mark (Julie), Bill O'Neill, Mary Hedges (George) and Joan "Cookie" Hall (Wayne); her parents, Bill O'Neill and Joan O'Neill; and her close friend Vera N. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

“I had Mrs. Coo as my grade 3 teacher in 2011-2012. She so kind hearted and would always put her students first. I remember running into Mr and Mrs Coo at the movie theatres about 5-6 years ago when I was in grade 10, it was so heartfelt that she still remembered me from all of those elementary school days. She was the same Mrs. Coo that I remembered, always smiling and making sure that we’re happy. She’s going to be missed by so many and I send my prayers to her family.”
