He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Cairns Jr. and Edith Cairns (Clark); his sister Beverly Jackson; his son Glenn Cairns; and his son-in-law Kevin Mills.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Cairns (Anderson); his children, Andrew Cairns, Heather Cairns-Mills and Elizabeth Cairns (Beth); and his grandchildren, Victoria, Jessica, Evan and Blakely.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4). A reception will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4).
