He is survived by: his wife Alma Cook; his children, Anna, Bert Haar, Raymond and Sue Vander Kooij; his grandchildren, Matthew, Meghan Vander Kooij, Kendra Vander Kooij and Laura Haar; his siblings, Rita (Chris Bydevaate), Sara (John Veenstra), Peter (Leni Vander Kooij), Corrie (Harry Langendoen), Audrey (Harry Kruisselbrink), Margaret (Piet Mostert) and Chris (Lisa Vander Kooij); and his siblings-in-law, Marjorie Miedema, Don, Dirk and Grace Miedema.
