The family announces the passing of Heather Louise Joyes (Barrie, Ontario) on October 19, 2026. Heather, born on June 20, 1947, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Heather will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Heather by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Heather is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Heather’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Neil Joyes; her sibling Kirke MacMillan; and her stepchildren, Rick (Gail), Kerry (Tracy) and Dan Joyes (Michelle). She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 90 Tudhope Blvd, Hawkestone, ON L0L1T0.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society Orillia and District Animal Centre and the Allandale Veterinary Hospital.
