The passing of Ian Stewart Robert McBoyle of Barrie, Ontario, born in Toronto, Ontario leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 7, 2025 at the age of 48. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lona Gail McBoyle; his uncles, John McBoyle and Dennis Crisp; and his aunt Euphemia McBoyle (Effie). He is survived by: his wife Mara Smith; his father Stewart McBoyle; his aunt Maggie Crisp; his cousins, Lynne McBoyle, Katherine Crisp (Kat) and Kimberley Crisp; and also Christopher Chagnom.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Adam's Funeral Home (445 St Vincent St, Barrie, ON L4M 6T5).
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Homewood Volunteer Association, an organization where Ian dedicated his time and which he was passionate about. Alternatively, donations could be made to Just Paws Animal Rescue.
