Inez Wingate Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Inez Wingate (Barrie, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her children, Herbert Wingate (Penny) and Susan Wingate; and her grandchildren, Kenneth Wingate, Melissa Wingate, Karna Irwin and Amber Irwin.

She is survived by: her children, Jean Wingate, Iris Wingate, Daniel McGibbon, Stephen Wingate and Donna Wingate (Gerry); and her sister Lorna Bennett. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 75 Amelia St, Barrie, ON L4M6K7.

If desired, donations in Inez's memory may be made to a charity of choice and are greatly appreciated by the family.
