He was predeceased by: his mothers, Alice Collings (Ellis) and Maida Collings (Cavanagh); and his sisters, Daisy, Joyce, Irene and Patricia.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Collings (Hawkins); his children, Matthew Collings (Anne) and Catherine (Carsten Schafer); and his siblings, Paul (Barbara), Carol and Laura. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
