It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Wayne Lang (Barrie, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 84, on June 7, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Bertha; and his sisters, Barbara and Gloria. He is survived by: his sister Patricia; his wife Ellen Gayle Lang; his children, Tracy, Carey and Michael; his close friend David (Scott); his grandchildren, Dalyce (Darian), Cale (Victoria) and Cody (Jess); and his great grandchildren, Taty, Tavi, Emmy and Nora.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Grace United Church (350 Grove St E, Barrie, ON L4M2R7). He retired at the young age of 56 but continued his love for teaching as a supply teacher until COVID interrupted at the age of 80.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Huronia where Jim spent the end of his life or to Hospice Simcoe.
