He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Stengel and Ruth Stengel of Matamoras, Pennsylvania.. He is survived by: his children, Gerald (Elenna) and Danielle; his former wife Monica Klages; his grandchildren, Everley and Oliver; his siblings, Henry Stengel and Jennifer Llewellyn (Randall); and his nieces, Casey and Sarah Llewellyn.
