Joe Prospero Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Joe Prospero (Barrie, Ontario). Joe passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppina and Innocenzo; and his brothers, Vince and John. He is survived by: his children, Craig (Amanda) and Michelle (Vince); his grandchildren, Anthony, Marcello, Domenic and Amelia; his brother Frank (Grace); and his sisters-in-law, Lucy and Elena. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skwarchuk Funeral Home (30 Simcoe Rd, Bradford West Gwillimbury, ON L3Z2A9). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. John Vianney Parish (13 Baldwin Ln, Barrie, ON L4N2W1).
Donations in Joe's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
