He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joyce Tribble; his children, Christopher Tribble (Laurie) and Patricia Tribble-Sturch (Dave); his grandchildren, Nathan Tribble (Samantha), Katy Lyn Viccary (Shane), Holly Tribble-Hurst (Grayson), Mackenzie Gavin (Chloe), Taylor Barkey (Jacob) and Brennan Barkey (Madison); and his great grandchildren, Ayden, Wyatt, Caleb, Quinn, Lincoln, Griffin, Beau and Baker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4). A reception will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada (https://secure.alzheimeron.ca) and are greatly appreciated by the family.
