We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2025, at the age of 86, John Barichello (Barrie, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anne; his son Michael; and his grandchildren, Olivia and Isaiah. He was also cherished by Uncle John to his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4). A reception will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4).
