He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Tessa Bryant (Hughes); his children, Jane Salmon (Paul Salmon) and Graham Bryant (Patricia); his grandchildren, Robin Salmon, Marlow Salmon, Brittany Bryant and Nathan Bryant; and his siblings, Michael and Ruth.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the O.S.P.C.A. or Medecins sans frontiers.
