With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Brydges McBride in Barrie, Ontario, who passed away on June 13, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy McBride and Annabel McBride; and his siblings, Robert (Ottawa), William (Acton), Dean and Lois.

He is survived by : his daughters, Karen (Jeffrey Burns) and Shelley; his wife Marina Jeanne MacFarlane; his daughter Virginia (Dong-Seok Han); his grandchildren, Matthew, Collin Burns and Lizzie Han; his great grandchildren, Brody, Cohen, Ivy and Addison Burns; and his sisters-in-law, Christine and Sheila (Ottawa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Simcoe.
