We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2022, at the age of 92, John Mitchinson (Barrie, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mitchinson and Phyllis Mitchinson; and his sister Mary Brett (Harold). He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, David (Ann), Kathy Mitchinson (Tim Harrison), Lori Mitchinson-Bailey (Joseph) and Geoff (Nicola); his grandchildren, Jaime Mitchinson, Scott Mitchinson (Heather), Scott Macdonald (Jennifer Lloyd), Laura Macdonald (Ashley Hardes), Marla Bailey-Viscoff (Paul Viscoff) and Mitchell Bailey (Mike Giordani); his great grandchildren, Mason, Madison, Isla, Mackenzie, Jax, Forest, Dorian and Blair; and his sisters, Barb Tyrrell (Jack) and Dorothy Haughton (John Lucking). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, and if desired, memorial donations may be made to CNIB, Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre, or a charity of your choice.
