He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Kathleen. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lorraine Maier; his children, Mary-Anne, Christina, Michael, Danielle and Jeffrey; his stepchildren, Rob, Wendy and Carrie; and his siblings, Joan (Clare), Robert (Lorna), Cecilia, Margaret, Catherine (late Robin) and Paul (Cindy). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (445 St Vincent St, Barrie, ON L4M6T5). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John Vianney Parish (13 Baldwin Ln, Barrie, ON L4N2W1). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (208 Sunnidale Rd, Barrie, ON L4N5N9). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. John Vianney Parish (13 Baldwin Ln, Barrie, ON L4N2W1).
