It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Edward Sammut (Barrie, Ontario), who passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Joseph Edward Sammut to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmelo Sammut (Charles) and Emilia Sammut (Amelia); his grandfather Nunu; John, Tom, Paul, Eddie and Josie.

He is survived by: his children, Katherine (Gerald), Joe Jr. (Andrea), Neil (Simone), Konnie and Holly; his grandchildren, Benjamin (Saisha), Lindsay (Matthew), Janelle (Manny), Matthew (Anisha), Shelby and Meghan; and his uncle Joe. He is also survived by nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joe's name to the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County (https://alzheimer.ca) or to High Park Nature Centre and are greatly appreciated by the family.
