Judy will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Judy by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Judy is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Judy’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jack Nanos and Dolly Nanos; her brother Ralph Nanos; her husband George Kaveckas; her sons, Eric (Cathy Fu) and Mark (Morgan Ramsay); and her grandchildren, Jack and Logan. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the Trinity Anglican Church (24 Collier St, Barrie, ON L4M1G6). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Dunlop Street Diner (20 Dunlop St E, Barrie, ON L4N1A2).
