He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Komdeur and Maaike Komdeur; his spouse Hennie Komdeur; and his siblings, John (Diny) and Judy DeWeerd.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Keesman; his children, Jeff Komdeur, Ingrid Barrie (Scott), Melissa Komdeur (Tom) and Rochelle Komdeur; his stepchildren, Alicia Petz (Johann) and Clarence Keesman (Patti); his grandchildren, Dallas, Kurtis and Elizabeth; and his siblings, Suzanne Groenwold, Lambert Komdeur (Jane) and Diane Van Dyk.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Simcoe Funeral Home (38 James St E, Orillia, ON L3V1L1). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 27th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. James Cemetery (320 Coldwater Rd W, Orillia, ON L3V3M1).
