We bid farewell to Laverna Davidson (Barrie, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 20, 2026 at the age of 85. Laverna touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice McArthur and Victor McArthur. She is survived by: her children, Jonathan (Shelley) and Rosalind; her grandchildren, Jordy (Hannah), Nicole (Trent) and Caleigh; her great grandchildren, Truelynn and Brayleigh; her sister Wanda Lougheed; her husband David Davidson; her brother Warren Lougheed; her sister-in-law Elda Lougheed; and her sister Corrine. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Furry Friends Cat Shelter in Barrie would be a fitting tribute to her love of animals.
