He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lockhart Buchanan and Lillian Johnston. He is survived by: his children, Mike, Wendy Edmonton (Richard) and Daniel Barrie (Ann); his grandchildren, Nathen, Luke, Mikylla (BC), Emily, Heather, Sarah (Barrie), Emma and Amy (BC); and his great grandchildren, Madyson, Haylee, Connor, Barret and Maverick (BC).
