It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael John MacDonell (Barrie, Ontario), who passed away on July 14, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Donald Macdonell; and his sister Catherine (Gerald Hollywood). He is survived by: his mother Rosemarie Macdonell; his siblings, Maureen (Andrew) and Douglas (Laurie); and his nieces and nephews, Kyle, Madelyn, Brandon and Hailey.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and are greatly appreciated by the family.
