It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrna Marcia Torrie (Barrie, Ontario), born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Fred Torrie; and her parents, William Spearns and Rita Spearns. She is survived by : her children, Graham (Gabi), Brian (Michelle) and Karen (Ben Freeman); and her grandsons, Connor, Shane, Nathan and Micah. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, extended family, many lifelong friends and her monthly musician friends.
