He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Marley and Bertille Marley (Hall) of Phelpston Ontario; his siblings, Edward, Mary Ellen, Bernadette (Bunny), Snider (late Ken), Michael (late Goldie), Bill, Leo, Patrick (Heather) and Peter (Liz); and his parents-in-law, Ozzie and May Flynn.
He is survived by: his children, Leigh Anne (Marc Masson), Jennifer (Gilbert Kuiper) and Scott (Laura); his grandchildren, Ella, Lauren, Carsten, Ethan and Ryan; his siblings, Joseph (late Deloris), Margaret Thomas (late David), James (late Colleen), Angela Marley and Phil Marley; his in-laws, Barbara Flynn (Buzz Carroll) and Louise Smith (Michael); and his close friend Roseanne Sexton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (445 St Vincent St, Barrie, ON L4M6T5). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Parish (65 Amelia St, Barrie, ON L4M1M7). A burial was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 at the St. Mary's Church (65 Amelia St, Barrie, ON L4M1M7).
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Hudson Regional Cancer Centre at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre or Hospice Simcoe.
