He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret (Marg); and his parents, Boyd Cowan and Elva Cowan. He is survived by: his children, Lynn (Danny), Lisa (Brad) and Boyd (Sarah); his grandchildren, Josh, Lauren (Kyle), Rebecca (Andrea), Spencer (Jess), Victoria (Shawn) and Connor; his great grandchildren, Zachary, Hannah, Blake and Luke; his brothers, Paul (Linda) and Brian (late Linda); his brother-in-law David Calder (late Judy); Ray. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Vespra Hills Golf Club (2694 Wilson Dr, Barrie, ON L4M4S4).
