In the sacred silence of farewell, Robert is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Robert's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his wife Gwynneth Bell; his children, Cameron Bell (Cam) and Christopher Bell (Chris); his children-in-law, Michele Bell and Tanya Bell; and his grandchildren, Kaile Bell, Christopher Meredith (Erika Meredith), Erica Meredith, Austin Edwards and Madison Edwards. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bull and Barrel (901-75 Cedar Pointe Dr, Barrie, ON L4N1L9).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society Barrie and District Animal Centre or the CNIB Dog Guides.
