She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband David Andrew Towers; her grandchildren, Thomas, Matthew, Kenzie, Trevor, Hailey and Heidi; her great grandchildren, Levi and Raylon; her pet Luna; her former husband Arthur James; her close friend Wayne Bessey; her children, Lisa (Stephen), Carla (Grant), Kim, Donna and Darren (Laurie); Krista. She was also cherished by family, but also her surviving sisters, many nieces, nephews, greats, great-greats, and friends.

In honour of Sharon's gratitude for the loving care she received, donations to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Foundation in Barrie would be appreciated by the family.
