He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon McKay and Veolynda McKay. He is survived by : his spouse Kerri; his children, Lauren and Lindsay; his brother Andrew; his mother-in-law Sheila; his sister-in-law Kristine; his nieces and nephews, Andrea, Elizabeth, Xander and Ashton; and his friend Chris Gaylor.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 30th 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4).
