We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Steven James Shanahan (Barrie, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Steven may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Camilla Gwendolyn (Webb) and James Basil Shanahan. He is survived by: his friend Alicia Assinck. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wickies Pub (274 Burton Ave, Barrie, ON L4N5W4).
In lieu of flowers, and as an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Steven may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
