He is survived by: his children, Sarah Yandell (Brian), Amelia Purcell and Alec Purcell (Lauren); his grandchildren, Logan, Evelyn, Michael, Jameson, Mackenzie, Jackson and Hunter; his girlfriend Deborah Platt; his girlfriend's children, Rachael, Katelyn (Nick) and Daniel; his parents, Bill Purcell and Beverly Purcell; his siblings, Sue Purcell (Dan), Bobby Purcell (Erin) and Donna Ryan (Rob); Lennon, Dylan, Lilly, Owen, Roy and Heather. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bull & Barrel (75 Cedar Pointe Dr, Barrie, ON L4N1L9).
